My new piece, Three Sketches for piano four hands, will be premiered at the recital hall of Austin Community College on November 19, 2022 (at 7:30pm). This piece is originally written for pianists Joyce Wan-Hsuan Wu and Tzu-Feng Liu. Both of them formed a piano-duet group, called “The Woven Sounds.” However, it was a great loss that Tzu-Feng Liu suddenly passed away due to the brain aneurysm on October 20, 2022. I decided to dedicate this piece to her. Thank Joyce for still making the premiere of this piece possible, and thanks for pianist Peir-Shiuan Tang willing to learn this piece in a very short time. If possible, wish Tzu-Feng could watch this piece being premiered from heaven. We will remember and miss you very much.

我的新曲子，為鋼琴四手聯彈的《三首素描》在2022年11月19日晚上7點30分，會在美國德州奧斯汀社區大學音樂廳首演。這首曲子原本是寫給鋼琴家吳婉瑄跟劉子丰，她們也創立了一個鋼琴二重奏團體「織音・知音」。但是在2022年10月20日鋼琴家劉子丰突然因為腦動脈瘤離開了我們，所以我決定把這首曲子題獻給她，並紀念她。謝謝鋼琴家吳婉瑄讓這首曲子的首演如期舉行，也謝謝鋼琴家唐培軒願意在很短的時間內答應演出這個曲子。如果可能的話，希望子丰能在天堂裡看到這首曲子的首演現場，我們都非常想念你。
