I am invited for attending the string final and composition winners concert of the Washington International Competition, and will go to Washington DC tomorrow (June 8) to next Monday (June 11). My Five Bagatelles for Piano and String Quartet is the first prize of this competition this year, and will perform by Joy Schreier and the Sunrise Quartet at the Terrace Theater of Kennedy Center this Sunday afternoon (June 10). The concert begins at 2pm, admission free. By the way, Friday Morning Music Club Foundation not only gives me the cash prize but also provides me the transportation fee and hotel accommodation. I am looking forward to the trip to DC and it should be a wonderful experience to me.
