Flutes and Horns – Journey to a Joyful Life

I am glad to accept the commission from Chiasong Ensemble to arrange five musical pieces for their concert. The selected pieces are “I Have a Dream,” “Dancing Queen,” and “Mamma Mia” from Mamma Mia!, the theme song from New York, New York, and “Wish Under the Meteor” from Snow Wolf Lake.

This concert, titled “Flutes and Horns – Journey to a Joyful Life,” is specially designed for flute and horn players from Chiasong Ensemble, featuring guest singers and percussionists. It will take place at the Chiayi City Concert Hall (Chiayi, Taiwan) at 2:30 PM on December 1, 2024.

This is my first time collaborating with them, and I sincerely hope the concert will be a success. If you have free time and in the Chiayi area, please come to the concert for supporting Chiasong Ensemble. Thank you! Tickets are available on the Era Ticket System.

Pearlfect Duo – Tabernacle Women’s Choir and Chiayi Women’s Choir

It is my pleasure to see conductor Li-Fen Chen and Tabernacle Women’s Choir will perform my choir piece A Pair of Wings on June 17 at 7:30pm at Chiayi City Concert Hall. Originally, “A Pair of Wings” is the third and final movement of my The Flight Log for mixed chorus and piano. In this concert, the newly arrangement for 3-part chorus and piano has made and commissioned by Li-Fen Chen for Tabernacle Women’s Choir. I am glad to see this version with the different setting could be premiered. This song is meant to encourage me when I am sad and depressed, and hope this message could send to the audiences to get the warm greetings.
